1997-2005 Chevrolet Malibu BE AWARE! : eBay Guides

I want to let everyone know that if are considering on buying a chevy malibu DON'T! GM builds these cars like junk. They don't tell that the intake gasket will have a leak which causes it to leak Dexacool into the motor and will cause it to lock up. This leak happened to me 3 Times (2002 malibu with 47,000 miles) and it is not a cheap fix at $1,000 a pop. Oh, and GM refuses to recall the problem, and over 500,000 people have had the same problem. Don't believe me check out consumer affairs. So if your looking to buy a car, buy a honda or a toyota. Stay away from the Malibu it wants to be an Accord but it can't. Oh, and stay away from the Pontiac G6 (same as malibu) LOT'S of problems and bugs with this car. Both should be labeled Lemons. Don't waste your money!
