they are fake.

that is to say, a real 1986 or other, dollar coin was altered and put through a special tumbler to make it look old.

the united states never minted this design dollar coin until 1986.

this sham seems to be coming out of the orient. china, ect.

watch out or you will br the first on your street to own a fake!
