Type I (Scott# 5) - Complete curved lines outside of the labels “US POSTAGE” and “ONE CENT.” The scrolls under the lower label, “ONE CENT” , are turned under forming little balls. The ornaments at top are nearly complete.

Type II (Scott#7) - Ornaments are the same as type I at top. The “little balls” under the scrolls and the bottoms of the lower plumes have been cut away.
