They are joint projects of Hasegawa models and Takara Toys(Takara-tomy) of Japan. Hasegawa mainly focus on the prototypes and Takara on production. All series 1 are assembled and painted, and series 2 & 3 needs to assemble by customers,but are painted. The painted are very accurate and detailed. Quality is high in my humble opinion. They are really good for German WWII planes collectors as they covered so many German Pilot Aces planes and rare planes. Might be there's complaint that they keep producing Bf109 and Fw190 variants, but they are trying to keep the "die-hard" collectors to collect different models and Ace's planes in 1/144 scale! It's a great series to most of the collectors and they really worth their prices for quality and accuracy! And usually there is "special" or "hidden" version which including "LED" or "real motor" to make your collections more interesting! And all those special parts can be applied not just to the special planes but also other ordinary planes in the series which most collectors don't know! Hope it help! Thanks for reading!
